ENCOURAGEMENT MEMBERSHIP FEES
as at 1 July 2007

This special Encouragement Membership is directed towards those who are not members of an Australian Golf Union (AGU) Affiliated Golf Club, but would like to acquire a GolfLink handicap to enable entry to club competitions.

Membership of the Golf Club is through Village Links PTY LTD.  The minimum period of membership is 12 months.

As an introductory offer, joining fees for this membership category will be waived.

 

Aged 18 years and over as at date of membership application.

Aged under 18 years as at date of membership application.

12 Months Membership Fee................. $69.00

To assist in obtaining your AGU handicap, Village Links will issue you with vouchers which will entitle you to 50% discount on five (5) 18 hole games at Village Links.

When you have achieved an AGUhandicap any remaining vouchers will lapse and normal green fees will apply for social and competition play.

All other fees and charges are at normal social rates.

 

To obtain a home club handicap, 3 score cards need to be returned.  A club handicap will then be issued, suitable only at Village Links.  When a further 2 cards have been submitted (totalling 5) you will automatically be transferred to an Australian wide handicap valid at any course.

Cards must be for 18 holes.  Each card must be signed by another golfer with whom you played and who is a member of an AGU affiliated club.  Cards should be submitted to the Village Links Handicapper as soon as practicable after play. Do not wait until all 5 cards are available as this will delay issuing of your handicap.

Appropriately signed score cards for games played at other courses must be returned to the Village Links (your home club) Handicapper until your have obtained your AGU GolfLink handicap.

Membership under this category has no voting rights within the club.  Encouragement Members are not eligible for Honour Board events.

Once you have submitted 5 cards for handicapping, your Village Links Green Fees discount vouchers will lapse.

Village Links reserves the right to refuse membership at its discretion.
